Purdue's Robbie Hummel has earned the StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week for the week ending February 13th. Trey Burke from Michigan has earned StatSheet's Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Hummel put up big numbers in both scoring (20 pts per game) and rebounding (8.5 per game). The Purdue senior played well for the Boilermakers in a victory against Northwestern and a loss to Ohio State.
Hummel contributed 13 points and 8 rebounds in 36 minutes in an 87-84 loss to Ohio State. In the next game he led all scoring and rebounding with a 27 point and 9 rebound performance in an 87-77 win over Northwestern.
This is the first StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week award for Robbie Hummel. The runner-up this week is Wisconsin junior Ryan Evans. Honorable mention goes to senior Jordan Taylor from Wisconsin.

Trey Burke averaged 36 minutes starting both games for Michigan. In a 62-46 win over Nebraska, Burke contributed 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Following that in a 70-61 win over Illinois, he added 14 points and 3 assists.
Amazingly, Trey Burke has won the StatSheet Big Ten Freshman of the Week 6 times. The runner-up is Cody Zeller from Indiana. Andre Hollins from Minnesota takes honorable mention. Nebraska has yet to win StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week.
