| Five teams from the Big Ten find a home in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They are Ohio State at #6, Michigan State (#7), Wisconsin (#15), Michigan (#17), and Indiana (#18).
Ohio State moves down three spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over Purdue, 87-84. After that came an upset loss at home against then-11th ranked Michigan State, 58-48.
Michigan State moves up four places after wins against then-3rd ranked Ohio State and Penn State, 77-57. Wisconsin moves up six spots after a win against Minnesota, 68-61. Michigan moves up five places after wins against Illinois, 70-61 and Nebraska, 62-46. Indiana moves up five spots after a win against Illinois, 84-71.
Kentucky holds steady at the top for the third week in a row. Notre Dame breaks into the Top 25 at #23 with a win at West Virginia, 55-51 and a win at home over DePaul, 84-76. Wichita State comes in at #24 with wins against then-17th ranked Creighton, 89-68 and Northern Iowa, 82-57. Gonzaga also enters the Top 25 at #24. Creighton drops out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at Evansville, 65-57 and an upset loss at home to Wichita State. Mississippi State and Harvard also drop out this week.
